In DLsite you sell an actual piece of content that is pretty much copyrighted, so when niji does a collab with them they have to take it down, such is the nature of doujin works, doujins are pretty much illegal, but they function as a free advertisment, companies and some creators do not talk that much about them beacuse that means they would have to take a stand that is obviously going to be "you can't just make money with my property" by ignoring them, fans can do all the stuff they want, company gets free advertisment and everyone is happy
