From what I can tell by being an admitted schizo, they drifted apart because of lack of communication stemming from Kiara’s burn out period around the months leading up to the anniversary. Can’t really do anything about it unless they have a heart to heart but I don’t see that happening anytime soon because they’re both stubborn as fuck and seem rather defeated about their friendship.

I disagree. Shit just happens but viewer wise, she was 24k live 10-15 minutes in and then just dropped with technical issues, which is not too far behind ame when she started streaming to her being 15 minutes in. Maybe she is dead last in Myth but it's fine, 2 of their members are are in the top 5 vtubers, and Kiara is consistently in the top 20 SC earners every month.

Recent example: Kiara mentioned Mori “didn’t seem happy” to be wearing her merch in that one outfit prediction but I watched that part again and Mori didn’t at all give off that vibe. She didn’t make any tsun comments and actually sweetly pointed out all the details of her KFP outfit and even said she was cheering for her favorite idol. They just seem convinced that the other don’t like them as much anymore. It’s annoying but it’s whatever. We’re watching an anime after all.

I consider myself a very pessimistic person but I truly can't get into that head space after seeing Mori's outfit speculation with the Kiara fan outfit. I can't even buy into the whole "keeping up appearances" angle either 'cause she had literally no obligation to include that in her stream. There were dozens of others yet she chose that one and she sounded genuinely amused by it to the point of wanting Kiara herself to see it with her. Even in her Musical Karaoke stream, she was giddy at the thought of doing a musical duet with Kiara if/when they are united again. Trust me, I'm one of the first people to doompost on these threads about the littlest of things but this ain't one of them.

Mori and Kiara are just very opposite autists.
For Kiara liking someone looks like what she did to Pekora - or Nene, Watame, Subaru and many more - shouting it from the rooftops how much you love and appreciate them.
And in return anything less will just leave her unsure if anyone actually likes her.
Meanwhile Mori is very closed off about her feelings so the most she can do is talk about someone she likes and attempt to non-verbally show she appreciates someone.
That will just leave Kiara wondering if Mori actually enjoys their friendship. And after a while she probably wonders if she is annoying to Mori so she tones back her affection.
This in combination with the end of the official ship now leave Mori wondering if Kiara still wants to be her friend.
Everyone is insecure, neither has the guts to start communicating - TakaMori is a glorious trainwreck of a story that keeps on giving.

My issue with the OG outfit is that it's very unfocused and tries to embody every part of Kiara's design concept without doing any one of them in a clear and coherent fashion. However, I also really like the colour orange so I like it more than some people and I don't really like when people shit on it too hard. If it were tidied up a little I'd probably like it a lot.

I'm a member of Kiara's channel since one year and eight days and I almost didn't check her out, because of her OG design. For me it couldn't hold a candle to a reaper with a scythe, a lovecraftian priestess, a detective based on Sherlock Holmes and a cute shark with some greek mythology behind it.

I didn't get the fast food thing, the weapons looked like stupid Lego toys and the orange color is the same the garbage men use for their uniform in my city. Her model wasn't appealing to me in any way.

Then I saw her in Callis "RIP" remix stream. Shortly after that I became a KFP.

It makes me think this is a Cover's decision instead of Huke's because his style utilizes very dark palettes compared to Kiara's. Maybe they didn't want 2 dark characters in one gen.

I think i'm a annomaly because for me it was totally the opposite, i really liked her on debut and first few streams, the model design was fine for me fast food manager part-time warrior phoenix is a clusterfuck that i really enjoyed compared to her genmates themes. I also watched quite a bit of KR in my childhood so the plastic weapons were a + for me.

Thing is, this is a job at the end of the day. I'm sure growth is good, but there's a finite amount of people who are interested in a niche streaming gimmick like this, so your pool is already shallow. The real winners in the end are those who can get those dedicated simps and hold them, and Kiara is in no short supply on that. Sometimes it makes it rougher to stream because you don't have new people to bounce off of in the chat and the content can get pretty route making it kinda boring to stream, but the money is the main goal.
Kiara occasionally stresses about these things because it is a job, and she wants to do well at it and there's nothing wrong with that. The only difference is that because she wears her heart on her sleeve and her emotions/feelings play a strong part in her content, she sometimes voices things others wouldn't which is why people talk about it.

I literally do this. Play the stream on one machine so it doesn't lag, use chat on another or my phone. It's that fucking bad, and all my computers are potatoes.
Her PC should be okay, but consider that OBS + whatever interface software the iPhone uses, plus Windows trying to update, and it could have lost a RAM stick or something between reboots. The recipe is there for her computer to chug whenever chat exceeds some amount.
I don't want to say "oh that's it for sure", but it makes sense too since her normal streams, which have been fine, don't peak that high normally.

It does that to my 4GB machine, which is admittedly a shitbox. My larger 32GB machine can survive a multi-hour Kiara stream with chat open, but keeping it open makes the video lag at random so I close it.

Especially when the focus is less on her model and more the main content area, I can see her doing well with a bit less movement sensitivity.

Do any of you use or have tried the userscript that changes the emotes from .svg to .png? The problem is that supposedly youtube chat is poorly coded and somehow defaults to opening emotes in the .svg format in max resolution instead of the miniature. That actually fixed it for me, especially when opening the emote tab.

An anon theorized that it's probably youtube spaghetti code that somehow makes the browser download the high scale/resolution and leaves it to the browser to scale it down to emote size or the code has so much redundancy that it bugs svg on browsers. That would explain the memory hog and the processor usage when chat blows up.
tl;dr Youtube chat has not so good code.

These dresses are basically EN's answer to JP's New Year's Yukata which also only get used for specific events.
Myth already has their regular outfits, their summer outfits and their Walfie outfits. Meanwhile Pekora still sits at her normal outfit, her yukata and her prisoner garb meaning for most "regular" streams she realistically only has her default outfit.
