>>1449710People seem to be placing too high of an expectation on EN1, expecting it to be the 2nd coming of gen 3, but EN1 is still one of the more successful generations, 3rd gen aside. most of the gens have 1 big player, some have none at all, and EN fits that bill. Aside from gura, Ame tends to hit around 8k viewers usually, which isn't that bad. Its solid mid tier, and Ina is the same. Calli often gets above 10k, which is just solid all around.

and as far as superchats are concerned, the gen has been a massive success, with 3 of the 5 being mid upper tier for SC's, Kiara being upper tier, and Ina only not being at the same level because she has literally told her chat to send SC's to the other girls instead.
Not to mention their other talents, specifically Calli and Ina, which are being put to use, while a Gura original song will be an open question. I'm curious if it would top charts, her singing voice is in fact amazing when she sings to her strengths, the best in Hololive, and that's purely talent, without formal teaching from what I've heard.
Basically EN1 has been great for cover, and even having 1 vtuber in a gen who matches the big players is a blessing not to be taken for granted.
