Filmed versions or movie adaptations are much more accessible but they're not always great (haven't actually seen the Hamilton version on D+ so I can't speak for it there).
Les Miserables is her favorite. It's pretty good for being one of the mainstream ones. The 2012 film is decent. It's about sad French people. My personal favorite is West Side Story. The original film adaptation was actually written, directed, and choreographed by the same people who did the stage show, which means it's actually great. It's Romeo and Juliet but it's a race war and they fight using ballet. I also highly recommend just about anything with music by Stephen Sondheim (who also worked on West Side Story), including Sweeney Todd, Company, and Assassins.
