But in such a case, you would obviously be able to convince a judge to sign off on a paternity test (though it would be obvious enough that the judge would probably just find the case in your favor without a test). That's not the kind of scenario this law is designed to obfuscate. It's designed to prevent men from questioning whether the child is theirs after they find out their wife/girlfriend cheated on them right around the time she got pregnant.
