>Be Ame
>The school bell rings, announcing the final period ending and lulling you from your slumber
>Stretch a bit and loiter in the classroom a bit, looking left to stare outside
>It's another quiet, lazy Thursday afternoon, and across to the other building, you can see it clear as day
>The window that belongs to your clubroom, the gaming club
>Smile a bit and head out the classroom to meet your friends there
>Before you even approach the door across the hallway, you hear Calli shriek
>You can barely hear it beyond the muffled door, but you clearly hear the words "too small" and "see-through"
>Roll your eyes, thinking, "Another day like this, huh."
>Slowly push in the door and met with the usual clubroom view
>Ina sits in the corner playing on her switch, completely absorbed in whatever game she's playing these days
>Kiara is by the table, a chess board in front of her, cool eyes and a satisfied smile spread across her face
>She's staring at an incredibly flustered Calli, wearing a bunny suit that's barely containing her figure, wrapping her arms around herself in embarrassment
>Gura is behind her, grinning like a goblin, zipping up the bunny suit
>Your arrival prompts everyone but Ina to look up at you, their expressions holding varying degrees of joy, Gura is noticeably excited
>"Ame! Ame Ame! It took you long, enough, slowpoke. Look at the new outfit I got Calli!"
>Calli gazes at you with hopeful, pleading eyes, and mouths "Help me, Watson"
>You silently laugh and start taking your coat off
>"She looks good, Gura. Now stop bullying her, you bozo. She looks miserable. Here, Calli, wear my coat."
>Gura pouts and slogs over to her desk, mumbling under her breath
>Calli tenderly smiles at you and you feel your heart skip a beat again
>"Thanks, my dude."
>"N-No problem. Hey, Ina, whatcha doin'?"
>You walk over to here but she seemingly doesn't even realize she's not alone in the room
>She's playing a visual novel but reading it at an incredible breakneck speed
>"Oh. Oh wow, is that a new VN?"
>"Humu."
>"What's the plot?"
>It's about several magical girls that want to protect the palace, but their goals for protecting the kingdom are different. Right now I'm on the route that requires you to visit the elder shrines in a specific order, the order being first the one in West Fog, then-"
>"O-Okay, Ina. Have lots of fun."
>"Humu."
>You leave her alone for now, knowing she's enjoying herself, and walk over to a waiting Kiara
>The chess pieces are exactly where they were yesterday, and Kiara looks at you in friendly but tense competition
>"I see we're finishing this week's game today. You ready to lose again?"
>Kiara giggles in response
>"I'm ready to start another game, yes. But let's finish this one, first. Who knows what will happen?"
>You softly smile and get ready to move your rook
>Before you can, Gura is already up and yelling again
>"Oi, quit playing the Grandpa game. We're gonna go catch bugs today."
>You let out a sigh and stare at her
>"Seriously? Can't we just stay in for once and do nothing. Okay, let's go. Go go go!"
>Before you can protest, she's already dashed out the door, screaming and laughing down the steps
>Almost instantly, Ina gets up and trails behind her, not even breaking eye contact with her Switch
>Kiara lets out a small, disappointed sigh before perking up again
>"Well, there's always tomorrow. Let's go."
>"Ugh. Right... You coming Calli?"
>"Uh. I-In a moment. Your boy's gotta, y'know, redress."
>She tries to laugh it off in a deep voice but just giggles instead, embarrassing her further
>"Alright. Catch up, then. Hup."
>You lift yourself up and head out the classroom with Kiara, one half of you filled with annoyance
>The other half is filled with excitement, thrilled for another day with the ones you love
>Walk out to the school gate, where Gura is already picking up worms
>"Ame! Look how gross these things are!"
>She walks up to you and smiles, laughing out loud
>"Ew. What the heck? Gura, get that away from me."
>"But it's coooool. Ooh, what bug is that-!?"
>She instantly loses her train of thought and goes after a butterfly
>Calli and Kiara come out a few minutes later, Kiara with her phone in her hand
>"Alright, everyone, today feels like one of those days. Picture time!"
>The group bunches up to get into frame
>Gura pipes up before the picture is taken
>"Okay, everyone, say, 'I love youuuuuu!'"
>Look at all of your friends in the lens, their happy beaming faces
>Smile with joy
>"I love youuuuu!!!"
