>>14743246The animation is pretty damn great, the story is about as typical as you can get but it was still good. I think the main appeal was seeing all of the different Spider-people from the different universes interact, although the main ones were Miles, Peter, and Gwen while the other three were mostly just there for comic relief, though they have their good moments too.
Overall pretty good.
I've only watched Raimi's first Spider-Man movie so I'm just going by that. It's over the top, cheesy, and campy, and at times downright hilarious. I never realized just how funny some of the writing and the I guess style of some of the scenes were.
Some of the effects and feel are very early 2000s and it shows, though that's not a bad thing necessarily. I think the movie gets memed on to this day and after watching it I perfectly see why.
Also a pretty good movie; I'm glad I watched it.
