If the point was just to get a bunch of shinies, she could skip the work altogether by trading for them.

She wants to turn Pokémon into a gacha by doing a run where she catches all her own Pokémon, and only ever catches shinies. Under those constraints, there's not a lot she could do to make this go faster.

Getting the Shiny Charm requires catching every non-event Pokémon. Since she can only catch shiny Pokémon, that makes it even harder.
