You'd said it t a dozen times: "Ha ha, silly treerat!" Normally she just laughs it off but this time... maybe you didn't read her right, underestimated how angry she was. This time Risu didn't puff her cheeks up cutely. Her tail didn't bristle. She didn't chitter angrily. This time she attacked.
When her claws first gashed open your face you cried out in pain and fear, and fell backwards onto the hard floor. You tied to form words but your mouth was hit with the rest of your face. A cheek slashed open exposing bone, lips mangled, blood pouring down in a fount. Attempting to get away from the maddened squirrel you scramble backwards but she's on you again, clawing at your legs. Soon shoes and pants are in tatters, and you've backed yourself against a wall. Risu grabs your leg out from under you, and you slam the back of your head on the floor. With a sneer twisting her face she demands:"What did I tell you?!" Whatever reply you had is made incomprehensible by your injuries. "That's right." A sickening snap, like a bundle of wet twigs breaking and pain shoots up your leg, and you scream with a hourse throat. Yet even through that you feel the sharp and sudden gnawing on your ankle. The squirrel bites down snapping your achilles tendon in one bite, taking an entire mouth-sized chunk out of it. She spits and a disgusting splat sounds next to your face. You realize then that she blinded you in one eye, popped with her clawing. Another bite, more spitting flesh. The pain is excruciating and you pass out before she's done. You don't know how long passes but when you wake she's gone, and you feel faint with the blood loss. You raise your legs and see that instead of feet they now terminate in mangled stumps. "Don't call me treerat or I will bite your feet!"
