>>14846033It started with some anon complaining about Kuzuha showing up on Kanae's POV (for APEX streams) *before* starting his own stream, causing his fans to tune into Kanae stream for the first few minutes for a 20k peak, then when Kuzuha leaves a few minutes later it goes back to 12k, 10k.
Some anon considered this preposterous, aking to "Illegally" inflating the numbers of the receiving streamer.
At the same time, but in an unrelated matter, people started noticing that when some holo finishes their stream (Pekora, let's say) all others that are still ongoing get a boost in their audience from the outflow of the ending stream.
Some anon accused Hololive of only having a small audience (smaller than Nijisanji), only pretending to be big through "view funneling".
People started making fun of BOTH of those anons and term "illegal view funneling" started being used anytime a noticeable boost in some stream due to the outflow of some other happens.
