Sometimes I see some indie vtubers that wear a 3D model just because it's trend and they hope that will bring free viewers with no additionnal efforts.
They don't even try to understand why people like virtual waifus, the only thing they understand is "3D model = more views". As if a 3D avatar could single-handedly compensate their lack of talent.
If a 3D avatar doesn't add anything to your performance, then you don't need a 3D avatar, that's it.
