She moved out as soon as she could, her mother stumped her emotional growth for years, she didn’t even let her watch national TV aside from the NHK, she monitored her PC use, and the only way she could handle it all was developing a technique which she described as “having no emotions”, like her grandfather, who’s also a very stoic man. That’s why her character at first was supposed to be a stoic angel without many emotions, and she says it was thanks to the other holos that she managed to break away from that. In reality she is a very sensitive girl, and it was her own mother who used to say her efforts didn’t matter, which is probably the reason as to why Suisei’s words hurt her so much. I’m not sure if half of this is from member’s streams or not, but there you go I guess, I don’t think I can rewatch all her members streams to remember where I heard those stories from. Anyway, it’s still a shitty thing for someone to say, and banter is fun and all but it just shows that Suisei takes it a bit too far at times.
