I mean, I remember seeing a thread here about some vtuber girl being a shotacon, and she was getting harassed and cancelled for it, not even by Twitter, but by people from fucking here and I've heard she had to graduate or something.
JP vtubers have more freedom thanks to their otaku centered community, they have more freedom to be perverted, but also more freedom to be more pure or idol-like, etc.
I don't blame vtubers themselves, but how the western vtubing fan community turned out.
