Are you deaf ? the rest of Gamebu went off to do their own things and the current Cocoa assuming Unlimited is even still alive is one of the replacements like the rest of the cast

Think of it as proof of ownership or digital signature. Pic related are the example of selling "proof of ownership", the voice file can go anywhere, but the proof of ownership (NFT) that's proving you buy and own that voice file (can be in increments) can't go anywhere.
It let people speculate on the asset price and can make Aqua's 100k subscriber anniversary voice shoot up to $10k if Holo decides to sell their official NFT which is i think is unlikely

Basically you buy a Non-Fungible Token of something because you want people to know that you bought an NFT of something. The theory is that billionaires could buy NFTs of one-of-a-kind items and use them to sell the items later, thus creating a paper trail (as the token is recorded in the blockchain, ownership of the NFT proves the authenticity of the item).
But in practice it's basically just reddit points for butt coiners because people are using them to sell non-unique goods. Also because many cryptocurrencies are so power hungry to operate, it's an incredibly wasteful way to buy things (though that is true of any use of crypto).

Well I've seen weirder things. Zero collector value as far as I'm concerned, I doubt anyone is going to look at digital signatures as fan items either. I guess this is for investment types and not fans.
I'm tempted to throw this at /biz/ and see what happens, but maybe someone who's more knowledgable?

I would agree that these aren't going to have any long term value, but there's a lot of money moving hands from idiots/collectors willing to use disposable income.

Every time this topic has come up I have struggled to understand the point behind these and I still do not. It comes off as a waste of fucking money and nothing else. Having this much disposable income to just burn must be nice.
