The goal of a logo is to be quickly identifiable from a distance.

Study famous company logos throughout history, look at them frmo various angles and distances. Take a quick crash course on graphic design (they're all over the internet and a lot are decent to high quality).

Make a logo that you can identify from a small thumbnail.

99% of these are pastel fading into pastel making them completely illegible.

I genuinely thought these were good reference ones until I looked over them.

They look great. They're eye catching. But 70% of them are completely illegible when they don't have to be.

A small few of these actually do their job and look great too.

Big fan of Gura's. But think it suffers being a tad less legible than I'd like.
