imagine you pay thousands of dollars and give me hundreds of thousands of dollars in general support (co stars, brand deals, advertising, staff, platforms, etc) only for me to use it for gain on my alternate channel where you get 0% earnings.
obviously clover wants the roommate to not even exist in connection with the v-tuber. because if they do then why still be a v-tuber? your fans will follow you over.
clover has a lot to lose by tying the v-tuber to the roommate. what's interesting is they actually have a shit ton more control over the girls than most traditional idols because they literally own the avatar and platforms. how many people would know where to find pekora tommorow if she divorces from hololive?
