They have some wildly popular members, they seemed to get extremely well from even the first stream - compared to how shit Myth and Council were at first.
What did Hololive do differently with this gen?

Cover groomed them for months instead of just letting them into the wild without experience. That's also why they had time to produce original songs and covers prior to debut.
