>>15347161Of course you can just watch, in fact it's probably much healthier in the long run if you treat it as simple disposable entertainment and not become a parasocialfag who thinks the streamer is his actually personal girlfriend and donates his life-savings to have his name read or whatever.
People who tell you that you "can't just watch vtubers like a normal human being, you have to pick a heckin osherino!!!" are either just fucked in the head themselves (see above) or (more likely) just mindlessly aping the "idol culture" in an attempt to fit in with the aforementioned people.
Don't limit yourself artificially (and certainly don't fall for the parasocial trick that it'd be "cheating" if you watch someone else, you're not in a fucking relationship with some streamer who doesn't even know you exist), just enjoy whoever you find entertaining (and don't be afraid to drop them if they don't provide any entertainment value anymore, again, it's not a fucking actual personal relationship, just think of it like changing the tv channel if you don't like the current program anymore and look for something better).
This also helps to prevent you from becoming a pathetic consolewar tribalfag, as you see in people who become so invested in their imaginary relationship that it pits company against company or even streamer against streamer from the same company.
