OBS isn't really scuff-free. I had to use graphic card software like Radeon/Adrenalin to record certain games, because OBS really hated them and dropped frames.
APEX, is notorious for this too. Which is why the only way to bypass APEX streaming problem is to 2PC stream setup (may cause yabs), or capture cards (even this will cause problems down the line).
