Which Vtuber had the worst luck with the model she got assigned and why is it Pomu? Watch her with any other model in VR chat and she suddenly appears a lot better than when she is using that... thing. The weird looking fairy is not fitting her voice at all.

Part of the problem is that the hair should be floaty and you can make it appear like that in still images (like in fan art) but when she moves and it is rigged as one solid piece, it looks weird as fuck.

Pretty all the corpo models are weirdly stiff compared to what the higher end indies are doing. The thing with Pomu in vr chat is that she is using something that actually has a range of motion at all and you aren't used to that.

Really depends on the chuuba. Gura, Mumei, Mori, and Ina fit their models/characters well. Ame would fit hers if the character wasn't originally a Sherlock Holmes homage but she made that character her own so it balances out.

I still don't see the problem here...it's just more realistic proportions. The ears are positioned the same as on a real human, the neck, jaw and chin are also proportionate. Granted, a wider neck is unusual for an anime girl, but it's not like they gave her a thick bodybuilder neck or anything. It's just more realistic. That stylistic choice might not be to your personal taste, but there's nothing objectively wrong with it, aside from her weird toenails.
