Also, with more EN members coming in, they'd have actual conversation partners along with ID to practice with over discord. You have to keep using the language to learn it, so they do have a good reason to learn it.

As far I know the only Holos who are doing that are Sora and Mel and none of them are doing Duolingo streams. Sora just practice english with her audience using a textbook and Mel use SCs reading.

Marine went to one trial class but I'm not sure if she actually paid for the English classes.

It's actually not terrible. Duolingo pretty much just trains you to be more consistent with doing "language studying" and especially if Noel keeps up at her current pace (she prob won't) she'll be able to speak complete sentences without having to think too much within about a month.

Duolingo only works for languages whose grammar closely resembles each other because the learner can fill in the gaps themselves if they're not retarded. This isn't the case for Japanese and English. You can tell that the girls are struggling to understand when to use certain articles which is one of the basic features of European languages because Duolingo never explains the concept. So someone was watching the comments and deleted every single one I left after about 20-40 seconds. I assume it's because manager/mod/automated bot/Noel removed them from the comment feed as they were flagged as "possibly rude" by youtube-kun.

Not really a point in doing that, all Spanish speaking countries are poor so they wont get more supachats, memberships, or merch sales. At most they'd get a little more ad revenue from views but that's not worth much especially considering they'd have to deal with, well, Spanish speakers.
