In Australia small kids used to make fun of her for her English, but would you consider kids making fun of you "bullying"?
In actual school, she just said that people used to have her run some errands and things like that... To a certain degree you COULD consider it bullying but my definition of bullying is much more extreme than that 2bh

Kiara mad very little friends in school. She had one weeb friend she looked up to who was a grade older than her and she said on stream when that friend graduated to the equivalent of high school, she felt kinda alone. Makes sense why she jumped on the internet and got sucked into idol culture to the point of moving to Japan multiple times.

From Holomyth, I would say that the only ones who weren't bullied are Ina and Ame. Everyone had some moment where they were bullied, but some people suffered more of that than some others. Maybe Calli is the one who suffered more bullying among holo mem as a whole? I don't know too much about JP

Bullying in Japan is a different beast than America. It’s a societal thing. It’s much easier for someone like Mori, a deviant art-theatre kid to find a place she belongs despite experiencing bullying here in individualist America than if she were in highly conformist Japan.

Some of them are definitely lying or at least exaggerating their experiences, but some of their stories feel way too real to be made up. Anon, maybe they are successful and loved by thousands now, but it doesn't mean it was like that for them when they were younger. In order to be a streamer you need no have some level of quirkiness, which is not the best quality to have for avoiding to be the target of bullies. JP girls probably had it even worse, knowing how hard societal norms are in Japan, and this kind of creative people don't match what society expect for them, which usually not good.
