Several recent coincidences have gotten this board excited and/or worried about the likelihood of a HolostarsEN generation, these being:
1. The release of Holostars promotional material/tweets in both Japanese and English
2. The opening of full-time EN auditions for both Hololive and Holostars.
These certainly suggest that Cover wants to expand overseas interest in Holostars, but don't inherently mean "they're planning HolostarsEN right now". The previous two auditions for EN were both explicitly open to men as well as women, showing that they saw EN Stars as a possibility from the beginning, but per Miyabi the low number of applicants plus the low quality of said applicants meant that it just wasn't worth it. The presence of the holostars on the application page is just a clarification of what their policy has been from the beginning, and unless they're lowering the standards for acceptance or fundamentally changing the idea of what they want HolostarsEN and HololiveEN to be (i.e trying to ape NijisanjiEN, which is a sad look when Hololive still dominates them overall), there's no reason to think that EN Stars is much more likely now than it was pre-Luxiem and pre-open auditions. There's also the matter of Cover clearly being at least somewhat concerned with overstretching, which is why they waited over a year to debut Gen 6 and why I also don't think EN 3 will debut soon (risk spreading out the audience too thin now that natural growth has slowed to a crawl).
I was very worried yesterday but now that I've taken my anti-anxiety medications I've become much more clear-sighted about what will likely happen. We're safe.
