People say the cull is holo exclusive, and honestly that's kind of dumb, but I do think it is affecting different channels differently. Lamy was getting normal numbers for her pokemon stream, and Mio's numbers are not that different from her tarot stream last year. Miko on the other hand seems to have suffered a really hard hit.

The theory that it's filtering out overseas viewers and only counting Japanese viewers seems to have some merit. The Holos with the largest overseas fanbases and international appeal are getting culled hard while Holos that filter out EOPs like Mio and Lamy are largely unaffected. It also explains why Niji seems to be mostly untouched since nobody outside Japan watches them.

I sometimes wonder if I am the only one who gets "disconnected" from the live-stream, because I never see anyone comment on this. I don't have this issue as long as I perform "an action" (i.e. click on the tab) every 3 minutes. Yet if I play a game and have the stream open on my second monitor I get a disc -> end of stream after ~3minutes of idle (no action taken on stream tab). I think a lot of people watch live-streams on the side while doing something else and once they see that the stream has supposedly ended they close it and move on to watch another streamer or something else.

The reason we know 100% or 200% is stupidly absurd is because on Twitch a 60% poll is considered stream-defining high, and you literally cannot hit 100% because 20-30% of viewers on large streams aren't even logged in. More commonly you'll see maybe 30-40% over 5 minutes or so, but I've seen as low as 10%.
