To the japs, New Years is a literal spiritual holiday in Shinto, it's not just listening to Frank Sinatra when NYC media frenzy happens and then everyone goes to bed and life moves on
They have special ceremonies, clothing, etc
Now tell me, how the fuck do you specially design an outfit or theme for two leafs, two Australians and a burger? What can they have in common as westerners/not Japs?
Even they struggled with the new EN theme for myth, note those aren't "New Years" outfits, they literally called them "party dresses"
