Twitch is the epitome of Western eceleb shit, vtubers were an exception because the Japanese had their own net culture and operate very differently from them. Newfags here don't fucking realize how incredibly irrelevant the Western scene was until myth debuted, it was just fucking nothing, probably 95% of Vtuber interest in the West was specifically just HoloJP. Vshojo was always those "pffft look at these shitty copycats trying to get literal whores and ethots to be a Holo wannabe" but, throngs of stupid fucking children who factually don't know better and can't tell some fundamental differences in terms of what's cancerous or inauthentic etc have buoyed them.
