I like the color blue and the traditional kind of dress regardless it being chinese or japanese or vietnamese, the hairbuns were a nice touch too
Overall not just dress idk smth about her old model (maybe bigger fang, wider smile, sharper eyes, more portruded chin at angles, twitchy eyelids when laughing) had a certain niche to it, i like both new n old just in different ways :) though new nene has a big advantage: the stank (trademark)

Lamy specifically observed how Nene makes dirty jokes now when she didn't before. Nene was more reserved back then.

Nene disagreed because she says she always had this type of humor even back then but the point was that she started using un-seiso humor more frequently as time went on. She may have had it before, but it was rare and hardly came out, and later on (especially now) it comes out quite often). She's more open with herself now.

Yes yes i agree people change the longer they get into a groove of things so to speak, thinking of for example changing schools n hanging around new people, however i dont think that necessary means being more true to yourself rather being more adapted to your surroundings if you get what i mean :) if i went to jail id have to adapt n change not necessarily meaning im more myself, a little extreme example but i think its a good analogy, given hololive is mostly putting on an act (its still an entertainment employment position) i feel like thats the more likely possibility hm hm

Summary: rather than being more honest id say nene is more adapted (with sprinkle of chilling out)

She adapted in the sense of being more comfortable with her surroundings to the point where she felt okay with being herself and unleashing her truer self. Only her voice became less natural than it was before though. She loves to sound like a child, what can I say.

I agree. Given her favorite anime of Gintama it's hard to argue that she suddenly discovered this type of humor, which is probably why Nene disagreed. She always had this sense of humor, but just held it back. So she was saying "But I was always like this?" even if that wasn't how everyone else saw her acting.
