>>15769527Sorry to break it to you, but this probably dips into schizo territory, lol.
The timezone issue was certainly a part of what had Kiara a bit upset, but she was genuinely melancholy of the whole situation of growing apart for quite a while, seen through a good chunk of her streams around the summertime. While I know it's not something to take personally, she DID have "unrequited love" as one of the things she disliked the most,
and factoring in her school/family life she has opened up on stream about, most likely suffers from severe abandonment issues. On the other hand Mori's a bit dense with these kinds of touchy subjects, although she means well. Since she's still a friend of Kiara, when she was hurt and possibly not responding to collabs or talking to her privately as much (they've each spoken about a few streams over the months that were dropped outright in the planning stages), I feel like she'd let Kiara "have her space" thinking it would keep her from bothering her too much. Then, with how busy she is with JP Senpai, Hololive Official HQ, getting all of these professional opportunities and how well she was getting along with Irys, Gura and now a good chunk of council, envy would manifest into outright resentment.
Thankfully, Kiara's stronger than that, and has pushed past that cloud of despair by forging on as strong as possible with her own projects and has really taken charge of her community and indie content creators, as well as organizing two of only a handful of EN full collabs that were rousing successes. That being said, I was still worried she was hurt from Mori's rather cavalier attitude about the matter, yet would simply try to distance herself entirely rather than engage and tell her outright. With this call though, I could feel a rekindling of friendship, and a positive path forward for these two.
TL;DR: Schizo posting averted, and I love platonic TakaMori
