Considering what passes for quality entertainment in the west, and particularly america, in recent years no not really. Low quality anime comes across as comparatively decent, and I say that as someone who doesn't watch it. I still read manga but I haven't watched seasonal anime in a few years now.
But I was more referring to how they hate japanese games and japanese mores that vtubers project.
Like how their women actors actually act in a way that makes your heart melt instead of harden even more than you thought was possible.
