Pretty interesting to see how close Bae and Mumei's sub growth is now. Only needed Bae to stream at the rate of 1 stream/day for the past 30 days to get to that point. I guess what they say about catching up to talent via hard work is true.

Once Mumei starts streaming more, she'd probably pull away again. I just wished either Kronii or Mumei streamed at the rate the rat does. They'd be past IRyS and speeding towards 1m if someone lit a fire under their asses to get them to stream.

You do not understand. Gura also suffered, but she still gathers more viewers, because the chumbuds are more loyal, and the nousags, after the hype passed, immediately dispersed and they watch the clips at the most.
And the fact that it has a lot of VOD views after the end of the streams - so it's just nousags come in and watch the timecodes. No one watches the whole stream. Only the moments noted in the comments.

We can see that the effects on different chubba's viewership ISN'T consistent. It heavily depends on what % of their userbase has been flagged for the 'delayed review'. The more users flagged, the heavier the %cull. Gura, Pekora and Fubuki managed to withstand the I itiak effects due to the large amount of users that they can cycle through, but eventually even they too will fall elow 10k CCV on the regular as more users are flagged.

The only things we know for SURE are such

What is the best strategy to gain money by translating japanese vtubers? Contact them directly and translate entire streams? Asking for translation commissions, then contacting the vtuber and releasing in their channel? Making my own translation channel?

It sounds a lot like a machine learning algorithm designed to attack the japanese crypto bot streams is hitting everyone else in the crossfire. From what I know about machine learning it would be very easy for for an AI to pick up on these parameters in the crypto JP streams.

Those parameters would technically hit the crypto bots pretty hard and I can see a dev greenlighting it once he sees the clearance rate.
This would explain why it's hitting the JP tubers so hard.

Here is another thought I got after we confirmed that they could be getting their accurate metrics on their streams after it finishes processing, Are the zero views I watched but never increased their CCV seeing my one view in their streams after they finished processing? Could anyone from the anons that did test streams check their analytics to see theirs?

From what i've seen the safest way to try be a succesful clipper is choose one and only one chuuba or group, do not do more than one gen. and at least 1 clip per day or a clip every time your chuuba streams. clips should not be longer than 10 mins

Yeah I was looking at this Fauna stream and those aren't actually far off from her usual numbers and it looks flat - but it's still generally low, she usually only has ever dipped under 5 for dedicated SC read streams (or duolingo). She's typically 6-7k for a game.

It just seems dumb to me to want Hololive to be Nijisanji when Nijisanji is already here. There are 15 streamers in NijiEN and they produce a lot of content, way more than HoloEN based on how lazy half of them are, so it's not like they're hurting for things to watch. What's there to talk about besides the numbers apocalypse? We've done that to death and people are demoralized by it since there is little hope anything will be done until it happens to some big western streamers and even if the flagging system is changed I truly doubt the accounts that have been flagged as bots will lose that status so we will probably never be able to trust CCV again.

I think this has always been happening, it's probably the reason for the waiting list/CCV discrepancy in the first place, but they pushed out some kind of update recently that made it take way longer to verify viewers as "not spam". I doubt any of this was on purpose, it's probably just pajeet programming and nobody on the YouTube live team seems to actually use it themselves since there have been obvious bugs everyone knows about for literally years that go unfixed.

I recall seeing a bait thread asking about Finana's viewership dropping so I was curious and checked.
Unless she plays genshin or HI3 (her tourist games) or is hosting collabs, her viewership seems to have gone down pretty bad.
She went from ~40k VOD range down to 10-20k VOD range.
It also seems like people only really donate to her when she does SC readings.
Anyone know why?

They probably just feed user metadata into some neural network and it spits out a "yes or no". That seems to be how most of YouTube works these days, the programmers themselves have no input on the algorithm and can just "coach" it into desired behavior.

Depends on the streamer. People like Pomu and Rosemi aren't losing anything to Luxiem because they're basically a Hololive crossover audience. Fiana's audience was always marginal due to her Twitch-like style, and more open-minded in watching male vtubers, making her vulnerable. Nina's audience is also sort of like this but she worked super hard to ingratiate herself with the incoming wave 4 fans and has benefited from it, while Finana has not really been proactive about anything, she's just kind of there.

All Niji EN put a lot more emphasis on SC than most Holos (except Mori/Kiara), it's almost certainly a much larger portion of their revenue mix. It's also why the branch almost to a person streams 6 days a week with very few breaks. They don't have much room to slip, especially with the threat of future waves hanging over their heads. Holos can be lazy and coast and still making a perfectly fine living, even Sana.

1) Council streamed much less. Sana, Kronii, Mumei and Fauna barely streamed these past 2 weeks.

2) Sana has the worst CCV and lowest VOD views in HoloEN by a wide margin.

3) Gura has by far the highest CCV and gets more stream VOD views than anyone, while Mori more music VOD views than anyone.

4) Council doesn't have any songs (except Bae's 1 cover) and Irys's songs don't get views.

Ninas fans don't seem like the type that are ever gonna deck their room out in Nina posters and figures. They treat her like the casual hangout twitch streamer she is at heart. She'll do decent on SCs and views but merch will probably always be her weak spot. Possibly memberships too, I remember she had a really long involved membership opening and only got like 900.
