>>16020157Well lemme tell you a small bit of info regarding her roommate then, the more info you get the more rational your judgement will be. She has always liked singing and dancing, but is socially inept thus making her unable to dance in front of people, and is pretty self-conscious about her anime-like voice since she was bullied before because of that. She looks up to Hashimoto Kanna, being pretty similar with her in physique and of also similar age, all while already accomplishing her dream as an idol. She made an utaite group back when she was still active in NND, and even held a super small scale live (~30 people attending). So yes, her 'idol' dream is as real as it gets.
Now as to whether she still 'cares' about her viewers, she's still actively exploring possible membership merits that she could give out, starting with the monthly wallpaper that started from last November. All her concerts and songs are also dedicated to all the people that has been supporting her this whole time, and in case you didn't know, all those lives aside from the first Sololive were all paid from her pocket, which is definitely a deficit for her.
Next, to address your lengthy post.
>50% of her income from chinksFlat out false, Someone compiled the data before, and chink moneys contributed to a mere 8% of her total income from SCs. I don't know where did you even get this number from, are you a newfag? I need to remind you that Aqua was still the highest SCs earner in Youtube until Early 2020.
>salvage her chink fans by avoiding CocoThis is most likely the decision of the upper management. Aqua herself still went 'Kondragon' nonchalantly to Coco, kept an empty spot for her during her totsu even though Coco didn't say a word, and even mentioned Coco having new outfit during the last days of Coco. She loves all her fans yes, but she loves Coco more. Sadly love doesn't mean shit when bugmen can just flat out torch your company with a wrong move, so management restrained both of them from ever interacting.
>she probably thought she had lost most of the connectionShe didn't. Her loyal fans still coming to Youtube and throwing SC to her despite living in bug country. Even recently fans in Taiwan paid for 3 bus wrap to celebrate her birthday, and she acknowledged them. You'd think the buses would get torched overnight there, but it didn't. Everything is fine.
>low effort contents such as utawaku and zatsudanSo pretty much everyone not streaming games currently? Guess Vtuber is dead as an industry then.
>her 'promise' last year to dominate the next mario kart tourney was made from her to her fans, of which, now are just a shell of what it had been. Now let me ask you back, if you promised someone you will visit them at a certain date next year, then the day before the promised day you are involved in an accident and needed to spent weeks in the ICU, are you now just a shell of what you had been?
She made the promise, but there wasn't any details about when the next tournament will be, or hell whether it would even continue or not. Then it happened to be pretty close to her Sololive. Which will you prioritize, your lifelong dream that you've cultivated for the last years, or a promise that's made upon vague details?
Now I addressed all your concerns. Sorry that it's kinda long.
As a bonus, I will chime in what I think is her most crucial flaw.
>Schedule management on top of her crappy memoryAs of today, that SAO Ordinal Scale mengen watchalong still hasn't get the initial part cut yet. Anyone with membership can go check it. Her memory is shit, pretty shit even. What's the point of taking notes if you ended up forgetting that you took notes at that time?
She herself is aware of this, actually. The reason why there are so few streams is because she doesn't put out a stream schedule. It goes in a loop of:
She wanted to stream -> Looked up which days are free -> Forgot to mark it -> Job offers come from mane-chan -> Mane-chan asks which days are free -> Since she didn't mark the date her stream is going to be she just gave all the available days to mane-chan -> Mane-chan filled it up for her -> Now she wonder why she doesn't have free time to stream -> Repeat.
This needs to be fixed somehow, probably even at the scale of replacing her current mane-chan.
