I think 2.5 is fine, especially since you already have a buffer of "missing" viewers from the 2020 issue. If you set it as 3x it's basically saying they haven't lost *any* viewers or have even picked up more since April and that is counter to a lot of ancillary evidence like large drops in SC totals.

I would expect higher participation in vtuber polls, especially near the beginning of streams before a lot of people have got fidgety or had their ADHD kick in and have tabbed out. If you do one 2 hours in to a stream, 30% participation, sure, if it's 10 minutes in I bet you could get 80% within say another 10 minutes.

Viewer churn is only a factor when the vote is open for an hour, and it would still struggle to get 100% of CCV unless the CCV crashed from going to supers or something.

Understand? A poll having more votes than CCV doesn't mean it had 100% engagement, it only means it has more votes than the stream had viewers at any single point in time. You need to understand viewer churn better, a stream is not a static mass of people, when CCV is stable that means that people are joining the stream at the same rate that people are leaving much like a bucket with a hole in it will stabalize at a certain water level of you pour water into it at the same rate water leaves through the hole.

They were using him to go after Twitch to get them to pay the record labels. They basically spent 5 years building a case.

I think Twitch might have their own Watamage considering they keep on growing while the competitors are dead. There's also the fact that Amazon is so big no company ever try the Ad-pocalypse thing with Twitch, therefore Twitch streamers get off scott free. Even if they gets truck with DMCA and banned, at beast, these streamers will be banned for a few days before returning.

Twitch is so strong that I think the next big vtuber group will come from them. (not counting vshojo of course because they can't incline anymore)

These things move relatively slowly. The react watchalong meta hasn't been around nearly long enough for the big corps to have built a big enough case to assfuck someone in one go. They don't want two, three instances of this shit when they go to court, they want 100+. Per target. These DMCA notices going out are warning shots that "Hey, we know what you're doing, and if you know what's good for you, S T O P". Of course, none of these chucklefucks will, and eventually there will be some very stern, very cold papers served and oh are they gonna fucking suck for everyone on Twitch.

~200k for a 4+ hour stream with 15k CCV is very low by Holo standards tho.

think of streams on twitch as shift work, if you dont show up for your shift you might get replaced. theres LOTS of long hour streamers willing to soak up viewers that normally flock to your ass in your usual time slots. so these streamers stream long huge chunks usually in the same timeslot for hours on end to maintain their viewership, Not really a problem in Hololive as its fostered a different type of approach as long as you do stream somewhat and after building up that core fanbase a little in your formative start.

It's been almost 24 hours for the Niji Mahjong VODs from yesterday to finish processing, and both are still ~400k lower than Towa's MK tournament VOD.

If we assume Niji didn't decline (they more likely inclined recently after NJU and NijiMK), their CCV for yesterday should be 90-100k+ easily.
Since Towa's VOD is higher, then obviously she's in that range too.

From all the data we have access too, we're looking at a 2x incline for Towa and HoloCup from 2021. (51k peak -> 110k+ peak)

Niji Mahjong yesterday both had 1M and 1.1M over a period of more than 4 hours and 40 minutes. Both were around 42k in CCV.

However, Towa's Marika gets 1.5M CCV at 4 hours and 30 minutes. Highest CCV is at 38.5k.

If Niji's fanbase were to grow more recently, mahjong would've had more than 100k CCV. Towa's MarioKart is probably above 120k ccv at the least.

We don't have any evidence so far that they're removing "flagged user views" from VODs because these "bots" are removed from the live viewer counter, but the VODs for most vtubers are still consistent with before.

Haachama is obviously getting hard-culled like every HoloJP right now, but seeing as she's one of the holoJPs with the most EOP fans, her live numbers are probably slightly culled already.

Her VODs generally greatly outperform what her CCV for those streams indicate.
Even before the recent cull, a short 4-6k peak CCV Hachama stream will end up with 120k VOD views.

Her waiting rooms are an outlier though they seem really high in comparison to what her CCV in theory should end up being. That content for her is usually what a bit over 20k? Unless I'm missing something. Meanwhile Pekora, Fubuki, and Marine don't get waiting rooms anyway near that even though their stream would end up with better CCV.
