Is HoloMyth the strongest Hololive generation as a whole unit? Are they the first and most effective reason why Cover should let genmates gel together?

I think they've had the biggest journey from where they started. They definitely did not gel immediately, and they were all deficient in some noticeable way to start, but they've pushed through and improved to the stage where we can start comparing them to other great gens.

Council is good in specific setups like >>16122905 said. And IRyS is essentially honorary council, which just makes it more of a mess. They may grow better over time, just like Myth wasn't anywhere near as cohesive at the start as they are now, but they're certainly not at the level of the golden gen that is JP3

To be fair, comparing the "chemistry" of EN to any JP generation is always going to be kinda unfair, because the JPs have the important advantage of all being actually able to physically hang out regularly, which is an indispensable catalyst for chemistry.

I can't really think of a JP generation that has worse chemistry than Myth, maybe the 1st? But even 0 which is made up of people who literally were all solo and got grouped together years later by fans has a better bond together than Myth.

There’s something charming about Myth. Cover really caught lightning in a bottle with that gen. Even if a good chunk of them are autistic during collabs you can tell they all enjoy being a part of Hololive and have become very close friends in the past year.

Yes, of course. Myth was the first Generation to have all members hit 1 millions subs and has the 2 highest subscribed Hololive members in one group.

Its difficult to make comparisons, because of their own particularities. Eg, Choco was at some point the most subbed member of gen 2 and among the top of Hololive, not sure if she was the 2nd most subbed overall.

Flare case is way worse than Kiara, her gen is the most succesful and she fell way behind the rest due to any particular reason.
