I think Nina might not understand that different countries structure their education systems in different ways that significantly affect the average education level of the population.
However, I also heard that some countries have a glut of graduates and wind up with blue collar labor shortages. The obsession with college is an elitist and narrowsighted conceit which ignored the fundamentals a society needs to remain solvent and sustainable.
Regardless, I don't fault her for this. College graduates are respected for their skills (like law and medicine) rather than their perspectives on governance, education or philosophy.
