>>1661801>t. clipfag who has never seen a japanese stream from start to endI think I'm starting to get why Kiara has so many people on this board who dislike her. The majority here doesn't speak japanese, so they built a narrative in their minds about these perfect Japanese vtubers who always act as if they have prewritten roles based on the clips they've seen. They delude themselves into being fans of a creature that in reality only exists inside their heads, hence the Goslingposting, the cunnyposting, the "I love X!", and so on. They're not a fan of the character itself, but rather the idea of the character.
When Kiara enters this picture, though, through the sheer force of her character's presence, these delusional ideas about perfection (hint: they never were perfect, neither the JPs, the ENs nor the IDs) start to shatter.
This is quite literally the five stages of grief unfolding amongst anons who realize that their perfect oshis were just an illusion they created themselves for reasons only known to them. Kiara doesn't conform to their ideals and it forces them to realize how they were wrong about their oshis as well. There's the denial ("No, my oshi is perfect because I perceive her as such!"), the anger ("Kiara broke my illusion, so I hate her!"), the bargaining ("My oshi might not be perfect, but she's better than Kiara!"), the depression (rratposting, doomposting in general) and finally the acceptance. The last one, however, is unseen: those that accept the vtubers as what they are know better than to throw a hissy fit and as such they do not stand out amongst the anons melting down.
You know how I'm right? Because Kiara is not a pariah outside of here and she's also not a pariah inside Hololive as well. If I was wrong, we'd already be on the fifth or the sixth horn.
tl;dr: Kiara makes people mad because she destroys illusions and rrats so effectively anons start to doubt themselves.
