How is she such an awful singer when she does live karaoke but when they do a real production she actually sounds really good? What magic do they work to somehow make her singing sound as good as it does?

A streamer I watch named Gawr Gura is also very good in karaoke. I don't know how she does it without any real musical training but it's impressive. I highly recommend checking out Gawr Gura.

As for Ame, she improved quite a bit in 1 year, the thing is she mostly wings it on karaoke instead of practicing properly, she's lazy and goes for variety instead of perfecting a couple of songs.
