The chat guesses fairly accurately and she reveals that it was 20,000yen per person and exclaims that it was really expensive but that eating that food made her think; "So there are food this good in the world huh?", since she felt the food was so good it justified the price tag, she did think she'd like to go again but after all the price was so high she won't go for some time again.
They were also very peculiar about the sauce and she insists on it not being your everyday dipping sauce, having a wide selection that they brought forward for each thing they ate, telling them which piece of food to use which sauce with and so on, furthermore they also cooked the food for them at the table while explaining these things. Her mother was really happy about the treat, telling her it is really delicious and thanking her for doing this and Pekora while trying to hide her embarrassment replied to her mother that she is always grateful for the things she do for her.
It wasn't just meat as they also brought out some sea urchin and when that came out she realized this was one expensive menu and upon being asked what her favorite piece of the menu was she can't really decide as all of it was so good. And as for the rice, it wasn't just plain old white rice but rather part of the menu coming in closer to the end, and she has some difficulties properly placing what it was and explains it as rice in a stew of some sort, which was really delicious and had various seafood in it like Sea urchin, crab, roe, and so on. At the time this rice stew arrived she was already feeling full from the course but the staff told her that she'll be able to eat it fine and while skeptical of that it turned out to be true, being so delicious she devoured it no problem.
She also excitedly tells the nousagi that there was also chateaubriand in that menu that she got to enjoy, it being sandwiched between two pieces of bread like things. Rounding off the menu was the desert and she says that was delicious as well, and it was some kind of ice cream with black basedbeans in it surrounded by a wafer cake. All of it was good, all the way from the appetizer and that brings her to say that it is interesting how if you go to a more expensive place then even stuff you wouldn't normally eat at like a restaurant or at home becomes something you want to try eating which was the case for her with some of the appetizer. On the question if she thinks the menu is worth 20,000yen she strongly says she thinks it is.
Despite the euphoric sensation the food gave her she also says that isn't it kinda scary how 20,000yen go into your stomach just like that? There is a feeling of it being a waste as well she says and laughs. But after all this is a place you only go to during special occasions such as these so it can't be helped that it is expensive. As scary as the price was, it was very delicious and some time in the future she'd like to treat her family again, after all it is something one should do while they still can and she also says that this was the first time in her 2 years of activity that she has treated her family so it was also a feeling of; "About time she did" for her. It was fairly difficult to find a time where their schedules matched, and she'll do her best so that she can treat them again in the future.
She continues to say that when it comes to normal restaurants like a pasta place or a family restaurant then she and her mother has eaten together at those places before but when it comes to these proper luxurious restaurant then she can't help but wonder if her table manners are proper enough for a place like this. Like it was a private room and just her family but the people cooking the food for them were there which made her self-conscious about how she eats.
