holo korea means attention, attention brings popularity and when you popular, politics will start trying to influence you. korea definitely a big market -not as big as china- with a higher risk.
It will happen when/if cover became big entertainment(idol) company with many talent dominating oricon every week, so they can afford to huge takes risk again.

Nijisanji KR has tried (for several waves), their branch was full of bullying scandals, extreme mismanagement and their one break out spoke Japanese most of the god damn time
They are more than happy of being apart of the Hololive English fandom, just go look at retweet quotes of outfits and such, theres a lot of them

There's just not enough Korean-speakers who don't also speak English for this to really go anywhere. Even if they have a lot of disposable money for donations, the numbers just don't exist.
Hololive would do better to create a Spanish branch, or even a French or Arabic branch, instead, since those languages do have large population numbers that could generate popularity.

Arabic would be better than Korean because there's far more people who speak it, as much or more disposable money available, and a not-insignificant amount of weebs. The latter point has been mostly ignored so far but it's a big untapped market.

Also this. Korean idols are fundamentally and from the ground up NOT in any way shape or form comparable to JP idols. With JP idols it's all about seeing the creative growth from humble beginnings, whereas KR "idols" are just Korean pop stars in the western sense.

Korea has high english literary, and Korean weebs oftentimes speak passable Japanese. It's telling that the most successful KR Niji catered to the Japanese market. As does Nabi.

Cover can just bait the Korean market with the Koreans in EN + Holo JPs who are popular in Korea (Towa?). The occasional breakout (Amelia/Kiara) helps as well. Throw in random collabs with Nabi, and you're golden.
