2ch is the equivalent of reddit these days despite being an image board, 5ch is our sister website. Also no person/company that matters is going to maintain an official presence here because they can't control the conversation, and the holoreddit is owned and moderated by Cover so it's basically an official forum.

The only reason why they did is because they can moderate it. Why tf would they come here where the mods will likely not do anything if someone wants to shit on them. Hate and drama posts get insta banned there. Hololive is staying as far away as they can from platforms that won't support them like in Twitch pretty much every other message board.
