This weekend AZKi will be streaming indie Vtuber music as part of a 3 day music festival. Every genre of music is represented.

Please use this as a chance to learn more about Indie JP artists and maybe give some of them a look.

Why don't they allow Mori to do anything like this?

Hasn't Mori been really eager since the very beginning about promoting indie creators?
I mean not just her friends like Boogie Voxx and Ririsya and Milky queen (who are all compatible with hololive culture afaik), I also mean how like
>one of the first things she did as Mori was hold a remix contest and reviewed the top 10 with a music producer
>featured one in her intro and wanted to feature a lot more in her outros (there were hundreds of remixes submitted and placed on the like top 200 list)
>became close friends with someone (Kiara) who has a deep connection with the life of a struggling creator who's put in the years and trying
>released a whole song calling out what she sees as one of the biggest obstacles indie creators need to overcome if they want to become successful

The managers must really be holding her back cause I bet she'd do stuff like this (and a lot more) if she was allowed to

Probably because, the music festival is quite different from a traditional collab. None of the talent in the festival are interacting with hololive talents so its a bit safer.

The reason why AZKi has been so poorly promoted is mostly because her project was co-owned by upd8. Ever since they closed and she's been engaging her audience directly, her subs have been (relative to the size of her channel) skyrocketing. Also, I don't know if he was an upd8 guy or a Cover guy, but her manager is a total piece of shit. He's also the one who was in charge of Suisei, and he's responsible for stonewalling her for a whole year and eventually causing her to cry on stream.
