Some days ago I tried to look for ways to have an avatar and try it out, streaming. I found an app that's called Reality and is basically a social network for the avatars you make in the same app.
So, after watching a couple of random streams, I did mine. Didn't do a lot of things, just put a video of deaths in disney world since I wanted to watch that, and a couple of minutes later people came to watch along. It was rather comfy, I didn't speak, they didn't chat. Just watching.
After 60 minutes someone dm'd me and we started chatting. It's easy to meet people here tho. He was telling me he was excited to do his first stream on Twicht since he had like 5k followers (on the Reality App) and I agreed to watch him too just since I had the time.
After 45 minutes of streaming, we were like 15 people watching him, 5 of which came by accident.
He was sad, ended the stream, and started telling me how dissapointed he was about himself and yadda yadda. Obviously, I see what people want to achieve with this, but I don't know why people don't stick to the things that works best for them.
I learned how much of a timesink this is. How much time you have to put preparing everything, and pratising how to express yourself like you want. Guess I just say because it seemed interesting to say it. It's not for everybody, even if it's at hobby level.
