I think I'm willing to agree with that interpretation now, but her ESL-isms have always left me with some doubts as to how her words differ from what she intends to convey. For example, I could easily have accepted her change from "might" to "will" as a mistake that didn't actually convey what she actually meant. In the past, when the context has been fully clear, I've noticed her making similar mistakes.
That being said, the somewhat vague clip talk full of stuttering before this does lead credence to your interpretation. As such, I will now start believing that the supposed sponsorship is scheduled to be held in more than a month from now. However, I still have some hesitations in fully believing that this sponsored collab is set in stone due to my distrust of Kiara's usage of terms like "will". Not that I'd fault you for believing otherwise, as this is just how I've conditioned myself when it comes to interpreting what she says.

I generally do not care about video game streams unless it's some RPG I played myself, which is why Kiara is pretty much the only one I watch consistently due to her small talk. I only tune in for others if they are doing zatsudans or shit like that usually.

In Kiara's case, the streams where she plays video games she has to pay attention to are generally the worst, like fucking Mario Kart. You don't get much chit-chat and just see her be a low IQ retard.

I was looking at art from all of the Myth mamas/papas, and I gotta say, Huke is the only one who seemed to draw one of them outside of his own usual artstyle in a meaningful way. The others' other art, for better or for worse, can easily be identified by how similar they look to their Myth daughter. It's super interesting. He's a great artist, Kiara's lucky to have him. (Not saying the other artists are bad, though)

The Japanese border won't even open until late February at the earliest, and Cover wasn't ready to make 3D happen during the ~3 week window last year the borders were open so I doubt they are now either. Cover usually mixes up appearances so that the talents have more opportunities to mingle with each other. They are very good at maintaining and showcasing unity that way and not letting the talents form cliques among themselves. I mean she talked about possibility of going through Stars once she runs out of Holololive members since the show started it's not exactly a news. It's the business move. The number of casual takamori shippers who will be excited by this is probably very high, and that probably sells extra tickets. Anybody who follows Kiara/Mori enough to be tired of Takamori is probably a big enough fan of the girl to want to support her no matter who is standing next to her. Not that it matters since it was management who were Takamori shippers in the first place and they'd probably put them together even if takamori was unpopular.
I just hope that they haven't been unfair to Kiara by giving Mori lots of stuff to do outside of Kiara but not the other way around.

It's much easier for Mori to walk into the studio and do a recording from a manager's standpoint than to fuck around with the other EN girls around the world, with their home setups and every retake requiring 10 minutes of Discord messages going back and forth. As you said, it's business.
Normally this wouldn't be a problem since Kiara and the others could just take a plane to Japan for two weeks and get stuff done while also doing special content like sightseeing zatsudans or offcollabs with the JP members, but the coof and Japan's paranoia ruined everything.

It is rather short. Keep in mind it originally released on the Game Boy.
How Long to Beat has it at 14 hours and she has played a bit more than 9.
She has finished the 5th dungeon and most overworld exploration is done so unless she does optional stuff it is now basically just walking from dungeon to dungeon.
It's theoretically possible to do it in one stream but I really wish she would stop forcing herself to finish games so quickly.

She's probably doing it for viewer retention. Her streams tend to be on the longer side and series generally have a drop-off for viewership, especially as people miss streams inbetween. Which makes things pretty hard as a JRPG Holo.

that is another thing though, It would be nice if Kiara can learn to juggle multiple play throughs at once, like all the other girls. She'd be able to go through games much faster, and that would be better viewer retention for her entire channel.

I remember Kiara saying that Deathloop didnt bring in new/more people to her streams, but looking back at the views, both of them are nearly or past 150k views; and comparing them to her other streams (not counting events or collabs), the only other stream that beats them is her art stream, and further back the only ones that can compete is her cooking streams. So it does actually seem that FPS has gained a bit of traction. Hope she still keeps at it and considers FPS in the future, fuck I'd even like a Fallout 4 playthrough or something. 150k is on the better side of average for her, 90-100k is the expected and 200k+ is very good. 1st Zelda is already at 142k and that largely seemed to be all the regulars tuning in. So considering the my first fps hype it didn't really bring in a new crowd.

Weirdly tho, 2nd Deathloop has just under 20k more views than the 1st.

Yeah kind of surprising that the 2nd stream would have more views than the first as usually its the opposite, and I would agree it may have not brought in "new" people, but at least basing strictly on views, certainly seemed to bring in more people in general; and since the 2nd stream did get more views, it might have better retention on people coming back and what not than other games do.

Don't ignore/forget stream lengths. If Kiara streamed Donut County and Slither.io as long as Deathloop the view numbers would be probably the same. Zelda (or JRPGs in general) are a Debuff.

The Arise final stream is also slightly higher. But this isn't a set pattern cause Alice's last part is the lowest.

In some cases it could just be the final parts being slightly longer. But again Alice has a long final yet lower views. I also doubt that many would jump into the last hour of a final stream of a game.

For just her solo gaming streams, 150k is actually quite good for Kiara. Looking at all her other games, not even Minecraft really gets 150k. And 150k second stream, is almost unheard of on her channel. Also both deathloop streams are "only" 5 hours long, while many of her streams are up to 7 hours.
Yeah, its not bringing in newer viewers, but a lot of people do seem to be interested in it though.

I think if Kiara branches out in more popular and well known games in the west, such as fallout, gta, witcher, etc. It would probably attract more people to her channel. I'd love to see kiara try them out. Kiara is a complete Skyrim virgin as well (probably), so it might be pretty neat to see someone play through skyrim for the first time.
