Anyone above the age of 15 with decent standards have enough reason to hate him just on that front.
These sort of people shamelessly clout chases and dish out hot-takes for a living due to the nature of the 'social media algorithm', there's a reason why even the most awful boards here looks down or outright bans discussions of their kind.
You probably would have a higher opinion of the guy before actually checking out what he does than after.
These sort of people are bad actors and I welcome anyone that can help to dissociate my oshi with their kind

Let's say there's an employee who makes food quickly, cleans well, gives great customer service.
If this employee is constantly late to shifts, constantly taking longer than allowed breaks and lunches, forgets to clock in, makes messes and shit talks the workplace, do you think that's an overall good employee?

Yeah they're talented at flipping patties, but they're simply an overall bad employee, you don't judge from only the best you have to look at everything.

Unfortunately true, as it stands. Cover can get away with this kind of mismanagement because the EN audience literally have 0 standards.
JP audience actually demands their entertainer to at least respect the attention and money they gave them.
That's why there would be at least an apology tweet (apology video or suspension in some cases) over anything that directly/indirectly inconveniences the JP audience.
