Honest question: what qualified males would even consider applying this time? We know from Miyabi that the small number of males that applied from the last two auditions didn't meet their standards. So is Cover lowering their standards for these auditions? Not to mention that there's very little incentives for males to apply for Holostars compared to Nijisanji or other places.

Another thing about Hololive auditions - they never mentioned explicitly that they are auditioning HolostarsEN. They just opened indefinite auditions for Holostars + indefinite auditions for HololiveEN (which has an option for EN). That decreases a pool of potential candidates.
Maybe haven't even started official auditions for HolostarsEN in the first place.

Yes. HoloStars is the only JP male branch of Holo Productions. There are no current EN male branches of Hololive. They would have received their own names like HoloMyth or HoloCouncil.

Because it's pretty obvious that they will never succeed and will continue to recline. Even after Hololive girls were ordered to collab with Holostars frequently, after Holostars got 3D, after they got their concert - they still continue to recline. If cover shits out one or two more HolostarJP/EN gens, they will suffer even more.
