There isn't an inherent problem with collabbing with males. Collabs with Holostars prove this, and even the flirty nature of the gender-mixed collabs in Nijisanji are still all essentially "in character" and don't come at the expense of the audience.

The problem is collabbing with independent western e-celebs, who gain traffic and money by creating drama and faction wars.
