Her attitude about complainers being pussies is right, but being such a tryhard contrarian about it that it's ironically validating the narrative that associating with TT/Connor is bad for her since it's all she's done lately is deflect.
Responding to faggots on stream is making clippers put a spotlight on it and it's making the whole discussion of her content about antis. If she isn't collabing she's playing Jump King, which has absolutely nothing new to offer clippers from "spicy" shit like this and that in turn pulls in more drama. She needs to find new content that actually engages her brain so she isn't lingering on all the petty shit.
It isn't just about the tweet. It's the cumulation of Calli engaging with antis throughout the month and becoming increasingly frivolous. That tweet might have been on brand for Calli, but it wasn't on brand for Hololive and when she crosses that line that's where it becomes a problem.
I get that nobody likes the idea of corporate interference, but Hololive didn't skyrocket because it let their staff act like cynical shitposters like 90% of all other streamers do. Despite what all the fucking yesman insist, encouraging this sort shitty of behavior is going to start impacting other members and adhering to some standards has been good for all the girls. Calli being surrounded by good people has pushed her into doing things she wouldn't (the singing training) and that positivity is what she needs to aim for. Actually being supportive is helping them see the whole picture, not making it easier for someone to run away from a mistake.
December was a shit month for Calli, she needs a break, but more than ever she needs to think about how she's been on stream lately. Ignore the anti gayops. Stop making career decisions to provoke antis. If she genuinely wants to do something new, she should just do it, not make it a semi-announcement clearly looking for a fight. That's been a fault of hers since debut, she'd get far less flak if she just did the things she wants instead trying to explain herself and acting confrontational every fucking time.
