I've seen Pippa and Hylo try randomly interacting with NijiEN on Twitter and getting totally ignored because they're poisonous 4channers, but someone like Shiki who can sing and has some viral videos gets replies and has done collabs a few times. If you're a 2view you should be networking with other 2views and try to get yourself into big collabs like Amogus and Gartic Phone and Crab Game where larger vtubers might show up. Then you tweet at them after the collab like "omg that was so much fun lets do it again sometime!" and they'll reply to you or follow you on Twitter just to be nice. That's when you can start replying to their tweets sucking up to them or slide into their DM's to suggest adding eachother on Discord and becoming friends. After a while they may need a +1 for some other collab and invite you personally, giving you an opportunity to interact with the other members of their company. If you're a corpo this is also when your management start talking to eachother so you can organize cross-company collabs and build a relationship with their managers etc. Then when you apply to join NijiEN their managers will already be acquainted with your content and if they have a positive relationship with your company they'll be able to vouch for you as a hard worker etc.
Regarding NijiEN the easiest "in" would probably be Finana(Genshin/Honkai fans or kusoge like Amogus) or Selen/Reimu(Apex) as they're very social and interact a lot with indies on Twitter.
If you're really someone who prefers existing in your own bubble and not interacting with others then you really shouldn't go down the corpo path to begin with. Being an indie is much easier for respected loner types.
