>>17042569>>17042388Takodachis are absolutely the best possible mascots. It works so well because that's the only mascot that is both the channel icon (for merch and stuff) AND the audience. Out of the 5 icons that Ina drew for Myth only hers is representing the audience.
This means the other fours had to come up with at the very least one additional mascots to represent the audience so most have 2 to 3 mascots. While Ina can keep the most versatile Tako. That's how we got:
>GuraBloop as mascot, live 2D and channel icon
Shrimp as audience
>AmeBubba as real-life pet mascot and channel icon (other pets don't et to be mascots somehow)
Audience changed multiple time before settling down as Investigators (a bit messy)
>MoriDeath-sensei is lore-thingy mentor channel icon
Deadbeats (do they even get that many fanarts?)
>KiaraKotori as the channel icon. Long forgotten then added back to the lore + live2D
Mascots for her two real-life cats
Another mascot for the audience (Dakuma chimkin)
With 4 mascots she is the Fubuki of Myth
>Meanwhile InaAo-chan as live2D (but long forgotten) and lore stuff
While tako is everything: Channel icon, live2d, audience since day one
So my ranking would be takowins > chimkin since they're established for a while > Bubba (quite iconic) > smoothie = chonker (quite iconic and introduced in the best way possible) > Shrimps (late but cute) > Investigators (a bit late) > Kotori (who?) > Bloop (Who?) > Death-sensei (Who?) > Deadbeats (not cute) > Ao-chan (Who?????)
