It puts in big bold letters "HE WAS 18 AT THE TIME IN 2018" but 2018 was the time the email was supposedly written to address the accusations, if you actually read it you can see that the accusations allegedly took place when he was 16, 2 years earlier. It's trying to manipulate people who aren't gonna read the wall of text by handing them a false number which makes the accusation look worse by making Vox a legal adult when it allegedly happened.
