i don't know man, considering ado records covers in a closet at home, they sound great.
I will say that ado's earlier songs on her channel don't sound quite as good as her recent stuff, she has significantly improved over the last couple of years, and I would argue that suisei now does sound better than ado did back then.
But hey, it's not like Suisei can't improve as well. And i feel like she has the talent to get to a point where she could be as good as someone like Ado.

Depending on how far back we’re talking, some of that shit was when she was like 16. It’s actually kind of crazy how good she was even then, and how good she has gotten now with still a hell of a lot of time up her sleeve to continue improving.

Ado is decent, but nothing you haven't heard before. The same goes for Suisei.
At their level, technique and expression are more important than voice and Ado is somewhat lacking in that department. She's still an utaite, even with all her success.
Have you heard Syudou sing Ussewa? It's like night and day, really. Ado always feels like she's singing someone else's song and she usually does. Syudou wrote Ussewa after all.
Of course, nobody utaite-related can keep up with Syudou.

Suisei doesn't have this problem. When you hear Suisei sing, it's "her song", no matter who wrote it or if she's covering something. Suisei is still leagues ahead when it comes to expressing herself in music.

Anon I love Syudou as well but even he wouldn't acknowledge his version has better, came out 2 month after, garbage mixing, his lowest viewed selfcover. He sings more aligned with ussewa in LMAO than in his cover, and because we're on /vt I have to bring up Polka's LMAO cover which easily compete with his, Syudou ain't Kenshi yonezu, there's a reason he haven't stopped producing vocaloid songs which are also his most popular songs.
